The coming move of God in Belize

coming move of God

The harvest is ripening for the coming move of God in Belize.

BELIZE JOURNAL PT. 2: In a widely-circulated word of the Lord for Belize, Bahamian prophetic minister Benn Smith spoke of the coming move of God. “There is a move of God that is getting ready to hit this nation. I am getting you ready for the final harvest.

Mercy triumphs over justice when anyone turns to the Lord. And it is not too late for gang members to turn to Him. In fact “God is about to visit the gangs of the earth and change gang members into believers and pastors.” For Jesus said, “I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (Mark 2:17). Many drug dealers are called to spread the word of God instead of drugs.

But instead of hearing the call of the Lord from the church, they are hearing its legalism and traditions. “People are fed-up of the same old stuff, they are not growing. They are hungry for more of God.” Those who are feeding this hunger will soon take the place of those who stand on old traditions. “There are millions of souls about to be saved. Those that get in the way of this move, I will move them…The back is about to come to the front. The old guards are about to be moved out of the way…

A revival is coming that will initiate a kingdom culture. It will start with a “season for signs, miracles and wonders.” These will come through people who know they are sons and daughters of the King of the universe. And they will speak with His authority. “Your words just don’t become words. Because you are a king, therefore your words become a declaration and a proclamation. It becomes a decree.”

We will not only ask for miracles. We will decree them because we reign with the our King. “And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth” (Rev. 5:10). Some church leaders who do not yet move in this authority will try to resist it. “They are afraid of your call. Because if you start becoming who God called you to be, your leaders will become intimidated.” Many leaders in the church are held back by outworn traditions, and “we cannot move in more until we walk away from tradition.”

The kingdom of heaven will come to replace traditions and the current human order with divine order. ”When we say let your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven, there is no sickness there, no depression, there is no denomination. When we are talking about His Kingdom, we are talking about His government, His rule, His reign, His culture, His law, His citizenship, and the rights of citizenship.”

We have not preached dominion, we have preached dependency. We died with Him and we have risen with Him so we shall rule and reign with Him. If we knew dominion then sickness, depression, oppression, and stress won’t have any dominion over you. Demons and devils will mean nothing to you if you understand your dominion in Jesus.”

This means a radical departure from the current condition of Belize as dependent on the kingdoms of the world—economically, politically, and even spiritually. Those kingdoms are trying to force a perverse sexual agenda on Belize that will make it more weak and dependent—and easier to exploit. But the kingdoms of the world are crumbling on their own corrupt foundations. God wants to move us onto the foundation on His kingdom, which cannot be shaken. And He wants us to build a new kingdom culture on this foundation.

Belize may be small and weak now. But “God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him. It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus (1 Cor 1:27-30). With Him, all things are possible for us.
