PRAYER ALERT: Though Islamic rulers remain silent on the issue, the rest of the world is now sounding the alarm on the recent mass kidnapping by militant Muslims in Nigeria. The US, Britain, France, Israel and China are committing personnel, expertise and surveillance equipment to help find the still missing 223 schoolgirls. Yet is it too late, short of a miracle, to “bring back our girls” from the clutches of the Boko Haram jihadists? Most experts think so. They cite the probability that the girls have been divided into small groups and carried away into neighboring countries. But it’s not too late to bring back our girls from the human trafficking operations where Boko Haram and its like sell captured girls. Human trafficking abounds in the Islamic world. According to the US State Department, 12 of the 21 countries in the top Tier 3 of human trafficking have Muslim majorities. Tier 3 countries are those “whose governments do not fully comply with the minimum standards” of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act and “are not making significant efforts to do so.” Outside of Russia and China, the main concentration of Tier 3 human-trafficking is in the largely-Muslim Middle East and northern half of Africa (see more below video).
Tier 3 countries with large Muslim populations in the northern half of Africa are are Libya, Algeria, Mauritania, Guinea-Bissau, Sudan and Eritrea. Tier 3 Muslim countries in the Middle East include Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Iran and Syria. Iran and Syria are particularly notorious.
The State Department report has said that Iran “is a source, transit, and destination for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and involuntary servitude. Iranian women are trafficked internally for the purpose of forced prostitution and forced marriage. Iranian and Afghan children living in Iran are trafficked internally for the purpose of forced marriage, commercial sexual exploitation, and involuntary servitude as beggars or laborers to pay debts, provide income, or support drug addiction of their families. Iranian women and girls are also trafficked to Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom for commercial sexual exploitation.”
The report has called Syria “principally a destination country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of domestic servitude and commercial sexual exploitation. Women from Iraq, Eastern Europe, former Soviet states, Somalia, and Morocco are recruited as cabaret dancers and subsequently forced into prostitution after their employers confiscate their passports and confine them to their work premises. A significant number of women and children in the large Iraqi refugee community in Syria are forced into sexual exploitation by criminal gangs…”This is the treatment that the 223 kidnapped, mostly Christian, Nigerian schoolgirls may have to face. In a recent video Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau boasts that they have all converted to Islam. And what will happen to these new female converts? Shekau says that Allah “commands me to sell” the kidnapped girls in the slave market.
Would Allah command such a thing? Yes, even in the “holy writings” of Islam. We read in the Quran Suras 23:5-6 and 70:29-30 that men may have sex with slave-girls. In the Hadith, Muhammad himself approves of Muslim hero Ali having sex with a captured and enslaved girl (Bukhari Vol. 5, Book 59, no. 637). Sura 4:24 goes so far as to permit a man to enslave and marry already-married women whom they have taken prisoner.
Will these atrocious Quran-sanctioned practices finally be exposed to the world in the “bring back our girls” campaign? Will more campaigns arise to bring back our girls from sex slavery in the 13 most notorious Islamic countries, and the other eight Tier 3 countries? Or will the mostly Western mass media just focus on one April 15 kidnapping incident? Will Western nations look the other way out of “tolerance” for intolerant Islam? If they do, they will be setting the stage for the capture, rape and enslavement of their own girls. For the militant Islam drive for conquest knows no bounds.

PRAY WITH US: Father God, Your Father heart is greater than any of ours. Only You know the depth of the suffering that captive and abused girls experience around the world. We thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to set the captives free. He can bring back the girls. And even forgive and change the tormentors who kept them captive. But the enemy has come in the name of Allah to deny that Jesus is Your Son. He denies that these girls can ever be Your daughters. He comes to steal them away from You. He comes to kill and destroy instead.
Show that You who are in us is greater than he who is in the world. Let there be outpourings of overcoming power every time the human traf
fickers strike. Let their weapons not prosper and their tongues be condemned. Raise up a cry against militant Islam that cannot be silenced. Expose any “faith” that seeks to enslave. For that is not a faith, but a demonic force.
Keep sounding the alarm against human trafficking around the world. Show that no victims are beyond Your reach. Bring back our girls. Make Your people a shelter and a home for them. Be their strength in weakness. Heal their wounds like only You can. Be a Father to the fatherless. Where sin once abounded and overwhelmed them, may their testimonies of Your grace abound much more. In Jesus’ name, amen.
