PRAY WITH US about God’s Kingdom Guarantees vs Socialist Guarantees. Father God, from You and through You and to You are all good things. So we thank You for the greatest gift of all, Your Son Jesus Christ. Through Him come all good gifts. We need many gifts at this time that only You can give. Socialists are promising health, but at a cost that we cannot afford. Turn us from the costly deceptions of socialism to the blessings of a government that honors You.

You created us healthy. And Jesus paid the price for our health to be restored. So You must have a plan, not only to heal Covid-19, but to bring recovery from all ill-health. Show us Your plan for every kind of recovery. Let us receive wisdom from heaven on this. Protect gatherings of families and friends from further wave of disease as we celebrate Christ’s birthday. Reverse Covid-19 as the coming year begins. And let Your church grow in the powers of the age to come. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: God’s Kingdom Guarantees vs Socialist Guarantees, Pt.2

The battleground states have not finished counting the votes. So no one can call the election over. In fact Republicans have registered alternate Electoral College votes that will count if Trump wins. But of course Biden is naming cabinet posts. Some may appear to be moderate. But we cannot discount hidden socialist agendas.

For example, Biden’s Health & Human Services pick, Xavier Becerra, has no experience in the public health. But he does have experience in pushing Obamacare and particularly abortion. Democrats consider Obamacare as moderate compared to the socialistic “Medicare for All.”

But let us not forget that a year ago, Nancy Pelosi said improving Obamacare “may lead to Medicare for All”. And Medicare for All leads to a government-controlled socialist health care system. Various Democrats have estimated it to cost up to $52 trillion.

As preposterous as that is, Christ paid a much greater price for our health at the cross. For “by His wounds you are healed” (1 Pet. 2:24). So let us pray in Jesus’ name for healthy gatherings of families and friends this Christmas. And that the New Year 2021 will begin with a great reversal against Covid-19.
