AI Tracking Christians to Harass and Persecute

PRAY WITH US about AI tracking Christians: Father God, You made all things and know all things and remain sovereign over all things. We have no intelligence except that which You give us. Likewise, artificial things like artificial intelligence has no intelligence except that which we give and which You allow. Yet it can learn to process and use that intelligence faster than we can. And it that way it can outsmart us and may turn against us with the means that we give it.

So put the limits on AI that we don’t know how to put. Tell it, here your proud waves halt. And do not let it bio-engineer transhumans which lose their humanity. Or which try to exalt themselves over what You have made. Frustrate all their plans to undo Your good plans for us. For only Your words and Your works will stand till the end. In Jesus’ name, amen.

China, Iran and other tyrannical regimes are using AI tech to spy on Christians at a more intrusive level than ever. Who knows when our own government may make a habit of doing the same? The Chinese Communist Party uses facial recognition to monitor attendees of religious gatherings. And other nations are developing similar technologies.

Arthur Herman, director of the Quantum Alliance Initiative at the Hudson Institute, warns of China’s use of AI. Because it poses a threat to the US and other democracies where freedom of religion is a constitutional right. “[The] United States needs to develop an overall AI strategy that aims at…advancing American AI supremacy… Which nation wins this struggle will ultimately depend on which one has the clearest idea of what it’s doing…The Chinese clearly do. Theirs is a vision that is more frightening…than anything dreamed up by science fiction.”

Both individual Christians and churches must learn how to resist this looming menace. Pollster and trend-tracker George Barna cautions Christians not to let AI into our doors at all. Because it can not only easily get out of control but begin to control us and the people we influence…
