Jews Banned from Temple Mount Where Christ Will Come -

PRAY WITH US about Jews banned. Father God, Your glory fills the heavens and the earth. Yet You have chosen a dwelling place for Your people Israel. And Your Son will return to rule the earth from there. Also, we thank You that have chosen those who believe in Him to be Your dwelling place too. Yet both Christians and Jews face bans from the temple mount. However, Your glory will one day spread from there to all the nations.

So give us the nations notice of Your coming. Dislodge the Muslim worship there, and begin to reestablish Your worship. Make Christ manifest as the ultimate sacrifice to Whom all the sacrifices are pointing. And not only cover sin, but cleanse sin from those who worship there, when they behold You. Give them a foretaste of the powers of the Millennial Age to come. And assure Your people that with You, we will not only overcome the Antichrist. We will overcome the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Jews Banned from Temple Mount Where Christ Will Come

Last week the Israeli government announced that no non-Muslims could visit the Temple Mount. This came after a record 4,625 Jewish visitors entered the Mount during the Passover holiday. This year the Passover holiday coincided with Ramadan. That triggered a wave of Palestinian violence that claimed 14 Israeli lives.

But no one reported any violence from Jews or Christians. Still, Muslims alone now dominate the Temple Mount until further notice. So why does the Mount have such importance to Jews and Christians?

Because they both believe that when the Messiah returns, He will come to the temple (Mal 3:1-3).

The Jewish Temple Institute has already prepared all the furniture and vessels that the temple will need. And it has trained Levitical priests to make offerings of animals once the temple is built.

But who will allow them to build it and make sacrifices? The Israeli government? Actually, Daniel says that the Antichrist “will make a firm covenant with the many” to allow sacrifices. But after 3 ½ years “he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering” (Dan. 9:27). Then he “takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying Himself as being God” (2 Thess. 2:4).

Christ will have to defeat him before He enters His temple. Then He will purify the temple which the Antichrist has defiled. His glory will not only dwell there, it will fill Israel and the earth during His 1,000 year reign.

So we must put our faith in Him, not the government, to end the usurpation of the Temple Mount. Then there “will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace” (Isa. 9:6).
