PRAY WITH US about UN promotes controls: Father God, we declare You as sovereign over each nation and the United Nations. So do not let the United Nations act as sovereign over us. Set Your own limits on national operations.and international cooperations. But give us all freedom within those limits to do Your good will.
Let us see what You have bound in heaven. So we may accordingly bind that on earth. But let us also see what you have loosed in heaven so we may likewise loose on earth. Most of all, loose Your Holy Spirit on earth in great moves that overcome the moves of each nation. May each say, let us go to the house of the Lord that we may learn His ways. You have done this so many times in the past. Do it again, in Jesus’ name!
PRAYER ALERT: UN Promotes Controls for Some, Opposes Controls for Others
The Belize government wants to push through an omnibus bill for regulating churches & other groups. Why? Ostensibly to reassure the UN that Belize is fighting money laundering and terrorism-financing. But Belize’s Financial Intelligence Unit has not accused a single church or ministry of any such thing.
So after meeting with church leaders, the government says it will ease the more draconian provisions. Still, many regulations will remain, they say, or else international organizations will blacklist Belize. Yet last year the UN castigated Nicaragua for having the same kind of regulations…
