Top Evangelical Leaders Call on US to Support Israel

PRAY WITH US about top evangelical leaders: Father God, we exalt You as King of all nations, and Jesus. Thank You for blessing Israel and making it a blessing to nations in many ways. So show us how to bless Israel back, so that You may bless us. We pray for those who don’t bless Israel, that they will repent and not be cursed. Because we see that Hamas and its allies have been cursing Israel for many years. Now they are trying to curse and destroy Israel. But they cannot succeed because You act in their defense. For You have defended them miraculously ever since they gained independence, and will do so again.

We pray that more church leaders will choose to bless Israel and move their nations to do so too. So move on nations to work against antisemitism and keep sanctions against antisemitic nations. Help them to resist and uproot terrorism. Cause all innocent civilians under terrorist rule to find freedom from tyranny. Reveal to them Jesus as :Lord and constant help in times of trouble. And continue to lead Arab nations to honor Israel as a neighbor and trading partner. And to find Jesus as the true and ultimate Desire of all nations. In Jesus’ name, amen

PRAYER ALERT: Top Evangelical Leaders Call on US to Support Israel

Some top US evangelical leaders have signed onto a statement firmly defending Jews and Israel. They include Ralph Reed, James Dobson, James Robison, Jentezen Franklin, John Hagee & Jordan Sekulow. They call the Oct. 7 Hamas killings “the most significant massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.” Moreover, “Jews remain the target of more than half of religion-motivated hate crimes in the United States.”

Accordingly, all nations should consider taking steps like these to bless and not curse Israel.

So these evangelical leaders call on the US Congress to take these seven steps without delay:

1. “Make it a top priority to advance legislation to help fund Israel’s defenses as soon as possible.”

2. “Pass the Countering Hate Against Israel (CHAI) by Federal Contractors Act.” This would ensure that US. taxpayer dollars won’t be used to boycott Israel out of existence.

3. “Pass the Antisemitism Awareness Act.” This would revoke the tax-exempt status of colleges refusing to fight antisemitism on campus…
