PRAY WITH US about the church’s 4-year term: Father God, all the kingdoms of the world will become the kingdom of the Lord. Until then, we must spread the gospel of Your kingdom. So we thank You for what You did for the church and Israel through Trump. But we need Your guidance and power to do our part in Your plan. Because You still plan to prosper the US and to give the US a future that fulfills our destiny in You.
Yet we see the government and media far more dominated by Your enemies. And they plan further domination of the economy, schools, arts, the family—even Your church. So frustrate their plans. Show us how to overcome all their evils with good. Release more revival until it becomes a national awakening. And help us disciple the converts so they will disciple the nation. Keep releasing your love, wisdom and power until we have a national reformation, in Your image. In Jesus’ name, amen.
PRAYER ALERT: The Church’s Four-Year Term during a Disputed Presidency
After such fierce opposition met the Trump presidency for the past four years, we can expect more fierce opposition for the next four years. No matter who—Biden or Trump—holds that power. Of course, we don’t want this to happen violently.
Many keep praying for a miracle to suddenly put Trump back into office. Of the multitude who prophesied a Trump victory, many stay confident that God will still make it happen. But since God has chosen not to do that yet, we should ask, what He is doing now?
He is releasing revival in many places in the US. But it won’t carry out God’s purposes if it only results in salvations. It must also result in national reformation. At present, enemies of God dominate 6 of the “7 mountains”, or arenas, of influence in this nation. Not only government and media, but the economy, culture, schools, and even the family. Only the church mountain remains unconquered. But it is certainly facing challenges from more Covid restrictions that other “mountains” don’t face.
So as we receive converts from the current revival, we must disciple them to disciple the nation. We need reformation of all seven mountains. The gospel of the kingdom seeks increasing influence over all of them.
