God Moves, Demons Flee—Don’t Divide Over How It Happens -

PRAY WITH US: about God moves, demons flee: Father God, You are Lord of the heavens and the earth and the seas and everything in them. For whatever authority Satan took from us, Jesus took it back from him. So we proclaim that Jesus has all authority in heaven and earth and the seas. And He gave His authority to us to trample on the devil and overcome all his power.

Therefore we thank You that You are showing Your power and authority by driving out demons publicly. Demons have too long held sway over the seven mountains of influence. So we welcome more waves of revival to drive the woke waves away. And we ask that You will fill and keep filling us with Your Holy Spirit so that demons will find no more place. Keep pouring Your Spirit on schools, media, governments and all public and private spheres. And show that we must all give account to You for what we do there. For they all ultimately belong to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: God Moves, Demons Flee—Don’t Divide Over How It Happens

Whenever God moves, we can expect that demons will become manifest and flee. So the wave of deliverances at the movie premiere of “Come Out in Jesus’ Name” should not surprise us. Where Jesus showed up, so did demons—in terror. He gave us His authority to cast them out too—“to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

Satan and his demons may tempt believers (Mt. 6:12), afflict and hinder believers (Lk. 13:16; 1 Th. 2:18). They may even torment believers, as Paul experienced (2 Cor. 12:7). But they cannot harm believers. Because God works all things to the good for those who love Him (Rom. 8:28; Gen. 50:20).

Since His Holy Spirit inhabits us, demons can’t. But they can inhabit unbelievers. So let us use our authority to cast them out when unbelievers want to get free of them. And not divide over how it happens. Because many demonic doctrines in the world are making room for more demons…
