Defining Woman, Man, Marriage, Sex and Family

PRAY WITH US about defining woman. Father God, we glorify You as Father. Because from You every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. You created us in Your image, male and female, to be fruitful and multiply in families. And You called it “very good.” We grieve that so many want to ruin Your good design and defile themselves and others with depraved sex.

So we ask You to knock on their doors and call on them. That they may open the door and let You into their lives. And find out that You’re a good, good Father, who can show them how to restore the good identity You gave them. Let testimonies ring out of Your power of restoration. Even of those who have surgically mutilated their sexual parts. You alone can heal and affirm their true genders. Let the powers of the age to come restore those damaged by the evil powers of this present age. And let them become fruitful and multiply again. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Defining Woman, Man, Marriage, Sex and Family

Our legal team is working out the wording of these definitions for the Belize Constitution. But in an interview on his popular movie “What is a Woman?”, Matt Walsh stunned many with this definition: “an adult biological female.” And I might add, “…born that way.” In the same way, we might define a man as an “adult biological male born that way.”

Why do people react so wildly against such simple time-honored consensus definitions? Because they want to tear down all boundaries and make our identities vague and easily manipulated. And so we need to define familiar terms in our constitutions to enshrine common sense. So that we don’t lose our sense of what we have in common and let nonsense rule us.

Woke “progressives” urge us to change sex, change sex partners, and rely on the state instead of family. Now we know why Paul says in the end times people will “forbid marriage” (1 Tim. 4:1-2). The only vows of loyalty they want will bind people to the state. To have and to hold us, not for better, but for worse.
