Biblical Heaven-view vs. World-view of Global Issues

PRAY WITH US about Biblical Heaven-view vs. World-view: Father God, You have exalted Jesus above all rule and dominion in heaven. And we thank You for exalting us to be seated there with Him. There we have more authority “to overcome all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19) than we usually realize. So remind us to pray with that authority that Your good will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And to glorify You that You will do more than all we ask or imagine.

Show us visions like You did with Daniel, that we may see spiritual warfare as You do. Remind us to keep looking in those visions until You have shown us all You want us to see. And to keep praying as we keep looking that You will overcome all heavenly and earthly obstacles to Your good will. For we want to see Your kingdom come. So that the kingdoms of the world become the kingdom of the Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To have a biblical worldview means to see every issue—personal, local, national, global—through the Word. “All things came into being through Him” (John 1:3). And the Father seeks “through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” Because for all things He “made peace through the blood of the cross” (Col. 1:20).

We cannot have a biblical worldview without seeing God’s ultimate purpose to reconcile all things. Not only on earth but in heaven. For He taught us to pray thar “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” How can we pray “as it is in heaven” without heaven’s view?…
