PRAY WITH US about dual churchgoing: Father God, we exalt You as one with the Son and the Holy Spirit. Yet You are also three in one. And many of us form one body of Christ. So help us to rightly discern the body, so that we may not suffer judgment. And help each one of find the place in the body that You have made for each. So that we all may grow together as You would have us grow.
Keep us accountable to one another, to our families and to You. For we want to work in harmony and in agreement with Your purposes. And lead us together through every kairos time and every rhema word You have for Your body. For we want You to complete every good work You began in us until the day of Christ Jesus. And let Your glory to shine throughout the world that we may gain great harvests for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
PRAYER ALERT: Dual Churchgoing—Doubled Activity or Divided Loyalty?
A recent poll shows 46% of church-goers attend more than one church. As with every new normal, this post-Covid phenomenon has pros and cons. So let’s clarify what this attendance means.
The survey shows that out of the 46%, “22% said they physically attend more than one congregation. An additional 10% reported attending a congregation other than their home congregation virtually or via a television broadcast. The remaining 14% attend at least one other place of worship virtually and in person.”
