PRAY WITH US for constitution prayer campaign: Father God, the nations may rage and devise vain things. But You reign supreme over them. So show Your supremacy by shining Your face upon us. Make Your church reflect Your light to the nations. Though they call good evil and evil good, Your light reveals the difference between the two.
So with every issue that comes before the Constitutional Commission help us shine Your light. Affirm what our Constitution already affirms—the essentials of family and of moral and spiritual values. For our freedoms depend on such values. They form a bulwark against the enemy’s schemes. Guide us as we build on the foundation of Your supremacy with these values at heart. And guide every nation that engages in a similar struggle for its future. For any other foundation will crumble, but Yours will stand. In Jesus’ name, amen.
PRAYER ALERT: Constitution Prayer Campaign—War for a Nation’s Future
Belize and other nations have engaged in a constitutional process to choose their future. But many woke foreigners want to impose their woke will on such nations. In Belize, they are spending millions on pushing transgenderism, abortion and LGBT privileges.
So on Pentecost Sunday, May 28—the Global Day of Prayer—evangelicals kicked off a prayer campaign. We will keep dozens—and soon hundreds—of prayer warriors updated on each battle we face. Because only with sustained and united prayer can we win this war for our nation. We hope that next year at the Global Day of Prayer we can declare victory.
The People’s Constitutional Commission (PCC) has set June 22 as the date to begin “town halls.” At the town halls each interest group will have speakers promoting its agenda for the Constitution. But with 34 PCC members, will that leave much room for audience members to participate?
