PRAY WITH US about mayor blames Christian event: Father God, we declare You Lord of heaven and earth and every city, neighborhood and street. For everything must become manifest before Him to whom we must give account. So we thank You for the Mayday USA youth who had the courage to affirm godly and family values. Even where LGBTs did not welcome them, they left a testimony to Your power in their lives. But the LGBTs left a testimony of lawlessness. And so did the authority You established there, the Mayor.
So hold them all to account. Let grace teach their hearts to fear You, and grace their fears relieve. Because many have given up on cities like Seattle and let the devil have His way there. But children are born in cities like that every day. And You want them to grow up in grace and not grooming. So set limits to keep predator’s hands off them so Your hand may abide on them and guide them. And turn the hearts of predators into penitents so that You may restore their God-given identities. In Jesus’ name, amen.
PRAYER ALERT: Mayor Blames Christian Event for LGBT Attack
Remember the Gay Pride event in June 2023 when a crowd of LGBTs were saying, “We’re coming after your kids”? The mass media fell over themselves defending them, saying they meant that in a friendly way. Only the most naïve parents would fall for that.
Well, a Christian pro-life group called Mayday USA took its national tour called “Don’t Mess with Our Kids” to Cal Anderson Park in Seattle. Hundreds of supporters came holding pro-life, pro-family, and pro-religious freedom signs. Then pro-LGBT counter-protesters came with transgender flags. And they threw water bottles and other objects.
When officers tried to arrest those people, LGBT protesters assaulted the police. Also, two protesters jumped over the police barrier and briefly got access to the stage. As the incident escalated for several hours, 22 adults were arrested for obstruction and assault. And one officer was injured. So what did the Democrat Mayor Bruce Harrell do? Blamed the Christians…
