PRAY WITH US about prayer changes policy. Father God, we thank You for the way You created us. Because Your natural order for natural families grows into natural nations meant to glorify You. Yet in the beginning we sinned by falling for Satan’s schemes. Now he is still scheming against families and nations and especially against Your good will for them.

So affirm children’s natural rights to a mother and father. Help us define family once and for all as a married man and woman responsible for their children. Because globalists want a globalist family without borders and without divine order. Expose and foil Satan’s schemes to redefine them so he can make men, women and families in own image. Show all nations how to make their constitutions and laws expressive of Your good will for them. And make Your church Your voice of conscience and Your light to the nations. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Another bill with a pretty name and an ugly underbelly. They call it the Belize Families Bill. But the National Evangelical Association of Belize (NEAB) and other church groups caught wind of it. And had only a few days to pore through a 116-page bill and respond to the House Committee.

According to one Catholic priest, the Families Bill “neither defines nor protects the natural family.” Yet the natural family forms the most basic building block of a coherent society. The bill “fails to guarantee children’s rights to a mother and father.” And it “binds Belize to vague and evolving international instruments beyond binding treaties.”

In this way it turns national priorities upside-down. Besides God Himself, we should put family first and international concerns last. The Catholic priest said “this shift…undermines both natural law and our sovereign authority over family policy”…
