PRAY WITH US about Tiktok spying powers: Father God, we thank You that Your Spirit searches all things. He does so to work all things to our good. But the enemy want search all things to work them to our evil. We grieve that so many formerly neutral social media are now serving his evil designs. So we ask You to search out and frustrate his plans to steal data and use it to kill and destroy.

Instead, raise up social media leaders who resist temptations to exploit data wrongly. Raise up safeguards to alert people to invasions of privacy. Allow Your people and purposes to thrive as you give us life, and life abundantly. Whenever Satan seeks to crush us, show us how to crush him under our feet. For to You be the kingdom and glory and power forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Tiktok Spying Powers Also Found in Instagram & Meta

Do you know that Tiktok can monitor your every keystroke when you click on its links? Because those links lead you not into your default browser. Instead, they lead you to a Tiktok in-app browser. There Tiktok can access every action you take, even when you enter passwords or credit card info.

Tiktok says that it has disabled this capacity. But the infrastructure and systems for accessing your keystrokes remain in place. Instagram also has similar powers when you click on its links. Those clicks take you to an in-app browser that can track the data that you enter.

Moreover, Meta has a similar in-app browsers. But Meta claims that it uses them only “to enable safe, convenient and reliable experiences.” And that it needs extra code to access private data.

So do we need monitors to see what these companies are really monitoring? Yes. Because they are owned by powerful biased entities. US arch-enemy China heavily influences ByteDance, which owns Tiktok. Facebook—recently exposed for heavy influence on the 2020 US elections—owns Instagram. And Meta owns Facebook itself.

These “Big Brothers” now have the infrastructure for a future Antichrist global surveillance state. Pray God delays that future till every nation can choose the “hope and future” God plans (Jer. 29:11).
