Musk vs. Brazil’s One-Man Censor for Freedom of Speech

PRAY WITH US about Musk vs. Brazil’s One-Man Censor, that God will:

Bring out the truth about the 2022 elections for all too see. Restore anything that was unjustly lost during those elections. And to restore justice for Christians whom censorship unjustly deprived of their rights and positions.
Hold back the forces of violence that would try to push the results either way. Give Brazilians patience to wait for wrongs to be righted. But also to speed the process of justice so that no further abuses will occur.
As the truth comes out, for justice to be done even as far as the Supreme Court of justice. For truth to become such a high value that the Truth Himself will be exalted. And for the great increase of true faith in Brazil to continue without such untruthful hindrances.
For Haiti, to restore the broken health system resulting from gang attacks on hospitals. For supernatural power to break gang strongholds and open the airport, roads and hospitals again. To release the needed healing, medical supplies and workers that Haiti so deeply needs. And for a great harvest to result from increasing the number of harvesters.

PRAYER ALERT: Musk vs. Brazil’s One-Man Censor for Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech comes second only to freedom of religion in the US Bill of Rights. Like many subsequent constitutions, Brazil’s is similar in guaranteeing both those rights and many others. We cannot have freedom of religion without freedom of speech to make our faith known. So we should all pray for Elon Musk as he challenges Brazil’s Supreme Court to uphold those freedoms.

Because Musk has turned the formerly censorious Twitter into the free-speech platform X. Now 18% of Brazilians—about 40 million—access X at least one time per month. But since before the 2022 Brazil presidential election, one man has had the power to remove posts. Namely, Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.

At that time de Moraes ordered investigations of presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro. And he jailed some of Bolsanaro’s supporters for “attacks on the nation’s democratic institutions.” Now deMoraes is investigating Musk for disseminating “fake news” in posts by Bolsonaro’s supporters…
