Infinite Dignity vs. Gender Theory and Transgenderism

PRAY WITH US about Infinite Dignity: Father God, every family on earth ultimately takes its name and existence from You. You made the distinction between man and woman the main distinction between humans that we may be fruitful and multiply. But now many want to redefine sex into multiple genders that reject Your good design. They want to impose sex changes on children before they understand sex or the redefinition of it. In that way they want to colonize societies with people who have lost their God-given sexual identity and family identity.

So we ask You to reaffirm the sex You gave to each of us, the parents You provided and the family You intend. To restore family values so that each child feels loved by father and mother. To turn hearts of children toward parents and toward becoming good parents themselves. And to turn them away from the abuse of embryos before birth, and of sexual identity after birth. We pray that they find their true identities from You and for Your good purposes as they multiply on earth. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Infinite Dignity vs. Gender Theory and Transgenderism

Five years in the making, the Vatican’s new document “Infinite Dignity” takes issue with gender theory. It also takes aim at transgender surgery and surrogacy. Instead, it upholds the dignity of humans “created in the image and likeness of God and redeemed in Jesus Christ.”

Gender theory, it says, gives in to “the age-old temptation to make oneself God.” Instead, each of us should accept our God-given sexual identity with gratitude. Thus, “any sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks threatening the unique dignity” received from God.

Despite previous vague statements about same sex unions, the pope has often confronted gender theory. Already he has called it “one of the world’s “most dangerous ideological colonizations…”
