Haiti Missionaries Get Christmas Gift—All 17 Now Free

Haiti missionaries get Christmas giftPRAY WITH US about Haiti missionaries get Christmas gift: Father God, we thank You most of all for Your Son Jesus. Through Him all good things come. And from You as Father every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. Thank You for protecting this family of God and their friends and families during this 9-week trial. We pray that their kidnappers will leave their gang and enter the family of God.

Also, we pray for the hundreds of kidnapped Haitians who remain in bondage or suffer scars. Do not leave them that way till the end of this year. Provide them witnesses to Your freedom in Christ and miracles of Your grace. Restore families instead of allowing more to be broken by kidnapping. And raise up leadership in Haiti which will reveal and enact Your plans for recovery and prosperity. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Haiti Missionaries Get Christmas Gift—All 17 Now Free

The 17 hostages and their families & friends got a Christmas gift as the last 12 obtained release. Christian Aid Ministries said, “Join us in praising God that all 17 of our loved ones are now safe.”

They received a text message from a connection on Thursday of the final release. They would have liked to say much more. But they made no further details available due to the sensitivity of the negotiations. Therefore we still do not know what conditions they met or if anyone paid ransom.

The kidnappers, the 400 Mawozo gang, had demanded $1 million per missionary. They included 16 US citizens, including an 8-month-old, and one Canadian. After their kidnapping Oct. 16, the gang leader had threatened to kill them if he did not receive ransom. Then the gang released two in November.

Later, they released three in early December just after a new call to prayer. Because they turned to God as their only hope, He answered in time for them to celebrate His Son’s birthday. So let’s celebrate this family reunion with them!
