PRAY WITH US about endless court packing: Father God, You created life. Yet the highest court in the US has taken away the right to life of the most innocent children. You created man and woman in Your image, to be fruitful and multiply. Yet the same court has recreated marriage in its own deformed image. You gave us prayer that we may bring heaven back to a sinful earth. Yet this court will not allow teachers to pray for their students. As a result, grades have fallen, marriage has been defiled, and 68 million children have died at the hands of doctors.

Forgive us for our bloodguiltiness. Forgive us for taking marriage, which You called very good, and using it to unite people in abomination. And forgive us for not allowing prayer for those who are not aborted. Bring conviction on those who have not yet repented, so they too may be forgiven. Restore the hearts of parents to children, and the hearts of children to parents. Restore the hearts of judges to justice as defined in the Constitution they swore to uphold. And restore this nation to the vision of its Founding Fathers, who honored You as the Giver of our unalienable rights. In doing so, bring on us a blessing instead of a curse. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER ALERT: Endless Court-Packing Looms if Biden Elected

What would happen if a president-elect Joe Biden started adding justices to the US Supreme Court? Both he and his running mate Kamala Harris keep refusing to deny that they would pack the court. A future Republican president could pack it further to tilt the court his way. When would it end? For such reasons, most voters oppose court-packing, and Biden knows this. Yet he says that the people don’t deserve to know if he will do so.

The US has a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. The people elect a President and Senate knowing that the President nominates justices, and the Senate approves them. The people cannot elect or vote out Supreme Court justices. Therefore the Constitution limits the Supreme Court to judging legal cases.

Legislatures alone makes laws. Courts can only judge cases based on the Constitution, and on laws made by lawmakers. When courts overstep their role and make laws, they violate the law and the Constitution they swore to uphold.

If the Supreme Court had stuck to its constitutional role, it never would have banned prayer in schools. It never would have legalized abortion or same-sex marriage. And the US would never have pressured other nations, like Belize, to follow its sinful example.

Let’s pray for more originalist justices, like Amy Coney Barrett, and for all justices, that they will not go beyond what is written. And against court-packing which would further degrade the judicial system.
